I wish I could say that I do do this but I don’t do nearly enough yoga and after practicing regularly for a couple of years I can say for sure that it really does benefit all types of training – you will never get as good a stretch as a yoga stretch.
I made another promise to myself when I started this blog that I would try to “Yoga Every Damn Day” and so far so good (but it is only 4 days in😅)
This morning I did three sun salutations following by a few inversions as soon as I got out of bed – they felt so good because my muscles were still warm so the stretches came more easily and the movement got the blood flowing.
I was attending a fantastic yoga class for a few years but unfortunately due to work commitments I haven’t been able to go for over a year but I trying to get back soon, I will definitely be blogging about it when I do. I would advise anyone who does regular exercise to try yoga, you will feel the benefit in so many ways, this is something I am going to research and come back to in another blog post.
Namaste 🙏

I would really love to try Yoga as it seems like a really great way to relax and get rid of stress! Just gotta try and find a time slot, preferably in the morning..Good luck with your practice!

Thank you! It’s all about getting into a routine – once you start regular practice it becomes addictive. I would recommend just trying 15mins to start sun salutations in the morning. they help combat winter blues on a dark morning too! 🙂
